In the 1700's England now had three new colonies.. These colonies were divided by religion and were known as the New England Colonies, Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies.
The first colonies is the New England Colonies, they came out of the Plymouth colonies. Very religious, towns were started by churches,many small farmers could only grow enough food for their families. Very little slavery, very few European immigrants. They had Cattle Fish, Shipbuilding, Timber, and Whaling.
The second colonies was the Middle colonies. They grew a lot of food ,known as the breakbasket. They had a lot of European immigrants. People in middle colonies very tolerant of differences. They had Cattle Fish, Fur, Iron, Pigs, Sheep, Timber and wheat for making money.
The last colonies was the Southern Colonies. They grew around a lot of plantations which were large farms, that relied on slavery. Plantations made everything they needed. They had Corn Indigo, Naval stores, Pigs, Rice, Tabacco. They also started resistance to slavery they would pretend not to know how to do things and worked slowly. Damaged tools or what they were working on. Rebellion -Stone Rebellion 1739:20 enslaved people used weapons to kill planters and tried to escape South to Spanish Florida.
